Elaina Sue Fruit

Elaina was born on February 17, 1957, in Borger to John and Sue Yohn. She was raised in Borger, where she married David Keith Fruit in 1997. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2015. Elaina was known as a spunky lady who was sometimes sassy. She enjoyed trips to the casinos of Vegas when she was able, as well as playing bingo and dominos with her friends.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Sandar Kershen and husband Russ of Amarillo, Kassie Smith of Borger and Kathy Godwin of Borger; son, Robert Godwin of Borger; sister, Geraldine Tollison and husband Donny of Sanford; brother, Butch Yohn and wife Kay of Borger; 11 grandchildren, Kiana, Makeia, Ivory, Mariah, Faith Ryan, Miranda, Jordan, Dalton, Bree, Aeris and Konnor and 2 great grandchildren, Brinley and Lilliana.

Elaina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Fruit; son, Gregory D. Brown in March of 2023 and 3 brothers, Jimmy Yohn in 1986, Bobby Yohn in 2008 and Timmy Yohn in 2016.

Graveside services were held privately at Westlawn Memorial Park.
