Elbert Leon Hefner, 74,died Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRA graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Willis Cemetery in Willis, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Hefner was born September 24, 1933 in Willis, Oklahoma. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He served in the US Air Force as a Private First Class and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Hefner and his parents - Velmer Dink Bessie Badgett Hefner.BRBRHe is survived by his son, Michael Hefner of Florida, daughter- Susan Ann Hefner of Borger, four brothers - Jessie Joe Hefner wife, Norma of Borger, Bobby Hefner wife Lynis of White Deer, Johnny Hefner wife Debra of Fritch, Charles W. Hefner wife Dee of Conroe, sister - Nancy Nabors husband Gerald of Ft. Worth, three grandchildren- Nathan, Bailey Dillan and three great-grandchildren.
