Elgie Mcintire

Elgie Dale McIntire, 67 of Sanford died Sunday December 28th in Borger. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday December 31st at Sanford First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Dale was born November 3, 1947 in Borger to Elgie Melvin and Eva Cates McIntire. He graduated from Borger High School in 1966. He married Juli Darling April 5, 2008 at Sanford First Baptist Church where they are members. He worked for K and K Construction as a welder. He loved hunting, fishing, traveling with his family, Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and one grandson.

Dale is survived by his wife of Sanford.. Son Kevin and wife Gwynn McIntire of Borger. Daughters Kelly Swope and fianc Ramiro Sistos of Lubbock: Kindrea Longway and husband Joe of Shallowater. Step sons Jeffery Weaver and wife Justine of Sanford: Jason Weaver of Sanford. Brother Jackie McIntire and wife Joyce of Amarillo. Sister Patricia Pierce of Amarillo. Twelve grandchildren. Father and Motherinlaw, Ron and Jane Darling.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home all day on Tuesday, December 30.
