Elsie Ausbrooks

Elsie Louise Ausbrooks, 88, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Borger, TX.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Chaplain C.W. Parker of Odyssey Healthcare officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery in Pampa.

Louise Ausbrooks was born December 16, 1920 in Dennison. She had been a Borger resident for 80 years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Louise was a retired babysitter and had worked in the nursery at her church for 20 years.

Survivors include her son Kent Stephenson and wife Vicki of Borger; 2 brothers Sam Line of Amarillo, and Garvin Line of Borger; 2 sisters Georgia Gillman of Amarillo, and Nancy Blinker of Dallas; 5 grandchildren Ray Stephenson and wife Rhonda, Richard Stephenson, Lisa Johnson and husband Kendall, Mark Maupin, and Jodye Maupin; and 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clayton Ausbrooks, and her parents.
