Elvanna Davis

Elvanna Davis, 90 of Spearman, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 29, 2020 in Amarillo, TX. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, July 3, 2020 at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Danny Hendricks officiating. Burial is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a family and friends visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Elvanna Davis was born March 17, 1930 in Eliasville, TX to P. C. and Myrtle (Haberthur) Lackey. She has been a resident of Spearman since 1961. She married Travis Davis February 9, 1950 in Borger. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Spearman. "Elvanna and Travis were recognized by the Texas Sheriffs Association for their support over the years, she was member of Rho Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, member of Jonquil Flower Club,   she was a past president of the women's division of Spearman Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized for support of the American Legion". She loved horse racing, wild flowers, history, art , jewelry and books

Preceding her in death is her parents, husband, Sister Margaret Jo and a brother Emil.

Surviving is her sons Mike and wife Michele Davis of Spearman; Glover Don and wife Debbie of The Colony, TX. Brother Don Lackey of Laguna Vista, TX. Four grandchildren Jamie, Misha, Matthew, Doby and seven great grandchildren.
