Emma Jean Geuther, 86, died October 25, 2016 in Panhandle. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Calvary Baptist Church with her nephew Rev. Ronnie Pingelton, 1st Christian Church in Alva, OK officiating. Burial will follow in the Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Jean was born in Miami, TX to Clem Carl Geuther and Grace Maude Bossler Geuther and lived in Panhandle since 1939. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Panhandle where she was Sunday School Superintendent for over forty years. Jean was a housekeeper at St Ann's Nursing Home after working for her dad on the farm. She loved country western music, baseball, the Texas Rangers and football, the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Betty Pingelton and several Nieces and Nephews.
Jean is survived by her sister Virginia Farrell of Panhandle, two nephews Danny Farrell of Panhandle and Ronnie Pingelton of Alva, OK and several nieces and nephews.
