Erma Blankenship

Erma Dean Blankenship, 76, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at First Baptist Church Stinnett with Rev. Mike Donathan and Rev. Andy Ausbrooks, officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday, April 6, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a gift to AIM at Melanoma Foundation, 3217 Bob O Link Court, Plano, TX 75093.

Erma was born August 4, 1938 in Shidler, Oklahoma to Clayton and Violet Ausbrooks. She married Bobby Blankenship December 14, 1957 at Central Baptist Church in Borger. Erma loved to cook, especially chocolate chip cookies and chocolate pie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Calvin Ausbrooks.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bobby Blankenship of the home; son, Brad Blankenship and wife Stephanie of Roanoke, Texas; daughter, Abby Dennis and husband James of Stinnett; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brother, Carl Ray Ausbrooks of Amarillo.
