Ethel May Manning, 95, died Wednesday October 5, 2016. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Ethel was born October 8, 1920 in Beaumont, KS to John A. Spohr and Vesta Shay Spohr. She moved to Borger in 1948 and worked in the Accounting Department of Phillips Petroleum Co. for 33 years. She loved bowling and various craft works; she also loved music coming from a very musical family. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
Ethel was married to Dick Manning who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Kerry Manning and his wife Kay of Fritch, three grandchildren Dallas, Megan and Kristen and one great grandson Cooper.
The family would like to thank Golden Years Assisted Living, Borger Health Care and BSA Hospice of the Southwest for their care for Ethel.
