Eugene Davis, 79, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Borger.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First United Pentecostal Church. Interment will be in Sanford Cemetery in Sanford, TX under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Davis was born on November 15, 1930 in Enid, Oklahoma and had been a lifetime resident of Borger. He worked in the oil field servicing wells. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1990, parents Robert Bessie Davis, brothers Amos, Harvy and Junior, and sisters Bobby Ruth Davis and Mildred Thompson.

He is survived by his son Russell Davis of McKinney, TX, daughter Cindy Wheeler of Amarillo, brother Andy Davis of Borger, four sisters Estelle Tollison of Burleson, TX, Helen Dering and Sharon Thorpe both of Bedford, TX, Mary Davis of Austin, TX, five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
