Evelyn Hopper Dickerman, 92, previously of Borger peacefully returned to our Father in Heaven on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in Tacoma, Washington. She lived in Borger for over 70 years before moving to Graham, Washington in 2009.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Bobby Bridges of Borger officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Evelyn was born January 27, 1920 in Aubrey, Texas to Herman and Etta Johnson. She married J. Claude Hopper on April 17, 1937 in Denton. After his passing she married Bill Dickerman in 1971. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husbands, parents, a brother H.F. Johnson, a sister Lenora Johnson, and daughterinlaw Pat Hopper.

Survivors include two sons Waudell Hopper of Fritch, Ronny Hopper and wife Marilyn of Borger her daughter, Tonya Hopper Whitfield and husband Bill of Graham, Washington two sisters, Fern Melton of Ft. Worth, Doreen Jones of Denton a brother, James Johnson of Aubrey, Texas six grandchildren Melinda Styles and Brent Hopper, both of Amarillo, Keith Hopper of Vacaville, California, Kevin Hopper of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jeremy Cuttrell and Christopher Cuttrell both of League City, Texas, and eight greatgrandchildren. She will also be remembered lovingly by her many nieces, nephews, and stepgrandchildren.
