F. Maxwell

F.R. Maxwell, 88, of Borger passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Borger.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with David Langen officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Furman Ray Maxwell was born August 20, 1928 in Wheeler to Steven Arthur and Clara (Herd) Maxwell. He moved to Borger in 1947 and married Neva Weatherly March 13, 1948 in Pampa. F.R. served his country in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict, and was a shift supervisor at Philtex Ryton Complex. He was a member of the Bunavista Baptist Church and a member of the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge #1355, now the Unity Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Neva, son Randy Maxwell and wife Della of Stinnett, daughter Andrea Lynne Maxwell of Borger, five grandchildren; Clay Maxwell and wife Nicole, Jamey Maxwell and wife Kelly, Casey Maxwell and wife Marsh, Lacy Cassity and husband Aaron, and Brandy Flaharity and husband Larry, and numerous great-children.
