Florence Lucille Franklin, 83, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Franklin was born on December 12, 1924 in Hillsboro, Texas to Rev. Waymon Amelia Collier. She was a cook for many years at the Nu-Way Cafe in Borger and an employee for the House of Friends Senior Center. Florence married R. C. Franklin on October 31, 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C., and three sons - Volis Lynn, Blaine Tyrone and Jerome Carlile FranklinBRBRShe is survived by two sons - Roland Franklin wife, Beverly of Tyler, Tx., Daryl Franklin of Borger; daughter - Sheila Clement of Borger; two brothers - Willis Collier of Los Angeles, CA., Robert Collier, of San Bruno, CA.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

The family will be staying at 1307 Patton Circle in Borger.BR
