Florene Culwell

Florene Granny Shores Culwell, 81, of Fritch died Saturday, June 14, 2008 in her home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Biblical Apostolic Church with Rev. Jerry Moon officiating. Interment will be in the Stinnett cemetery. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Florene was born in Kilgore, Tx, December 25, 1926. She moved to Borger in 1934 and later moved to Fritch in 1996. Granny loved being involved in Wagon Trains and trips to Walmart. Survivors include her husband Ray Culwell, Daughters - Debbie Shores and husband John Yohn of Fritch, Frances Meastas of Perryton, Shirley Schwalbauch of Lancaster, OH., Stepdaughter - Debbie Brewer and husband Tim of Yukon, OK., Sons - Gene Shores and Richard Shores of Amarillo, Stepson - Billy Don Culwell and wife Phyllis of Borger, 17 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Granny is preceded in death by her parents and late husband Clarence Frank Shores April 20, 1979, and one brother Eugene Young.
