Floy Kennedy

Graveside services for Floy Virginia Kennedy, 91, of Borger will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee, OK under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Officiating will Rev. Randy Mathews, Pastor of the Clearview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kennedy was born March 12, 1919 in Pawhuska, OK and had been a resident of Borger since 1942. She had many different jobs in her life but she considered herself a Beautician most of all. Floy was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Hutchinson County Home Demonstration Club and a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

She is survived by her son Charles York and wife Beverly of Pioneer, CA, her daughter Cora Osborne and husband Buzz of Borger, her brother Bobby Jack Daniels of Sapulpa, OK, her 2 sisters Maxine Cargill of Okmulgee, OK and Sarah Matthews of Okmulgee, OK, 8 Grandchildren, 13 GreatGrandchildren and 4 GreatGreat Grandchildren.
