Forest Northrup

Forest “Frosty” Northrup, 67 of Borger went to be with his  Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Frosty was born February 16, 1955, in Midland, Texas to Freddie and Dora Lee (Fitzgerald) Northrup. He married Debbie Simpson November 7, 1984, in Borger. He worked in the oil fields and later at Golden Plains Community Hospital where he retired. He loved gun smithing, welding, remodeling, and working with his hands. He also liked fishing, camping, spending time with his grandkids, drinking coffee and conversations. He was a gentle giant that loved everyone bigger. If he knew you, he loved you.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Velva Northrup; stepmother, Claudette Northrup; stepbrother, Richard Wiles; and stepfather, Shorty Hough.

Surviving is his loving wife, Debbie; sons, Eric Huddleston of Borger, Aaron Huddleston and wife Jessica of Canyon; daughter, Nicole Cozbey and husband Chris of Stinnett; sister, Charlotte Holland and husband Randy of Monahans, Texas: eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
