Frances Donna Poindexter, 100, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Borger Church of God with Pastor Bill Ratchford, officiating. Interment will be in Vesperland Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRFrances was born on January 6, 1908 in Randlett, Oklahoma and had been a Borger resident for 77 years. She was a member of the Borger Church of God and helped at the Salvation Army for several years. Frances married Houston Lee Poindexter on May 19, 1925 in Ringland, Ok. and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Dorothy and grandson, Ivan Thompson.BRBRShe is survived by her son - Donald Lee Poindexter wife, Carolyn of Borger, daughter - Maxine Moe of Borger, two grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.BRBRCasket bearers will be Cecil Hopkins, Jimmy Hopkins, Ray Hopkins, Carl Smith, Johnny Smith and Dean Berry.BRBRThere will be a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
