Borger Funeral service for Frank R Henderson, 68, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Grace Fellowship Church with Pastor Marshall Ford officiating. Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. at the Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, TX with Rev. Jessie Hodge officiating. Services under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Henderson died Thursday evening after a battle with Parkinsons.
Frank was very active in civic activities wherever he lived, in Levelland he was a member of the Lions Club and a past president of the Levelland Chamber of Commerce. In Borger he was the Assistant Superintendent of Non Instructional Services for Borger Independent School District and a member of the Borger Rotary Club. He was a veteran of the Army as a Sgt. serving in Korea during the Viet Nam War. Frank was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University where he earned a Business Administration Degree. He was a member of the Texas Association of School Business Organization.
He is survived by his wife Doris, his son Steve Henderson and wife Deidre of Chandler, AZ, 3 Daughters Daina Harguess and husband Scott of Midland, TX, Stacie Shelton and husband Blain of Borger and Lisa Moltz and husband Tim also of Borger. Two brothers Johnnie T Henderson of New Boston, TX and Joe Henderson of Lubbock, 3 Sisters Margaret Nelson of Plainview, Sue Haley of Wilcox, AZ and Cassie Potts of Pasadena, TX. Frank had eleven grandchildren Summer Shealy and husband Chris, Addison Harguess, Hillary Harguess, Ciera Shelton, Kirsten Henderson, Tanner Moltz, Eric Henderson, Spencer Shelton, Sterling Shelton, Taylor Moltz and Dillon Harguess.
There will be a family visitation at the Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
