Fred Crang

Fred P. Crang, 63, of Borger, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Amarillo after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Conny Moore of the Bunavista Baptist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Frederick Paul Crang was born January 21, 1953 in San Diego, California to Frederick and Joyce Crang. He enjoyed his job as an ironworker for Austin Industries, and had lived in California prior to moving to Borger five years ago. Fred grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and loved to fish at the lake house, helping friends whenever they needed it, and playing the drums and guitar which he was very good at.

Survivors include his daughter Jayden Crang, her mother Valinda Bass and her two siblings Reagan, and Kanon Bass all of Dalhart, friends Greg Shaw, Steve and Amy Shaw all of Borger, Kim McMahan of Stinnett, and Larry Quentin of San Diego.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Fred loved God and felt truly blessed with the simple life that God had blessed him with.
