Fred Galvan

Fred Galvan, 65, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Celebration Family Church with Pastor Dwight Kirksey, officiating.

Fred was born February 7, 1950 in LaMesa, California to Fred and Beatrice Galvan. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. Fred enjoyed fishing, baseball, wrestling and football. Spending time with his friends and family brought much joy to his life, however his granddaughter Jasmine was the light of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Eleanor.

Survivors include his wife, Emma of the home; son, Michael Galvan of California; daughters, Emma Loftus and husband, Rory of Washington, Lisa Galvan, Rita Galvan both of California, Tonia Burdett and husband, Allan of Tulsa, Kay Flick of California, Jennifer Lilly of Borger; ten grandchildren, Nathan, Stephanie, Bailey, Savannah, Bryson, Jasmine, Anthony, Luis, Hannah, Alana; one great granddaughter, Adeline; brothers, Tony Aripez of Georgia, Michael Aripez of California; sister, Cathy Pottor of California; and a host of extended family.
