Freddy L. Landers, 71, of Borger died Friday, February 10, 2012 in Borger.

A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Frank Pittman of Spearman officiating. Mr. Landers wishes were that his body be donated to science. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Fred Lee Landers was born February 8, 1941 in Borger to Horace Kint Hoss and Julia Bell Judy Landers. He married Veda Riggle February 13, 1960 in Borger, and he owned a heating and air conditioning business for a number of years. Freddy loved spending time with his family and friends, raising and selling livestock, ranching, and fishing.

Freddy Landers is survived by his wife Veda Ann son Kenny Landers and wife Teresa of Borger daughter Kayla Taylor and husband Dan of Fritch brother Bobby Landers and wife Paula of Granite, Oklahoma sister Phyllis Busby and husband Dale of Fritch five grandchildren Chris Landers and wife Melinda of Borger, Matthew Landers of Odessa, Jennifer Harding and husband Tim of El Reno, Oklahoma, Melissa Baker and husband Dustin of Borger, Levi Ollis of Borger five greatgrandchildren Emory Landers, Brock Harding, Xane and Xach Baker, Xavior Ollis, and several nieces and nephews.

Freddy is preceded in death by his parents, and a greatgrandson Caden Brock Harding.
