Fred Riecke

Fred G. Riecke, 96, died Monday, December 4th, 2006 in Mt. Vernon, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ted Wilson, Pastor of St. Andrews Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Riecke was born on July 22, 1910 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. He had lived in Fritch for 40 years, and had lived in Mt. Vernon since August, 2004. He married Ida Mae Bell on September 18, 1937 in Clayton, New Mexico, and she preceded him in death in November, 1996. He was a Senior Plant Operator for Colorado Interstate Gas co.BRBRHis survivors include one son, Wilmer F. Riecke and his wife, Kay of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, one daughter, Shirley L. McAfee and her husband, Charles of Mt. Vernon, Texas, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.BRBR
