Frederic M. Nymeyer, 71, of Panhandle, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Panhandle.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Panhandle First United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Payne officiating. Interment will follow at the Panhandle cemetery. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Frederic Nymeyer was born September 15, 1940 to Frederic Sr. and Phyllis Nymeyer in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was part of farm COOPs for 30 years, and was building manager at the BWXT Pantex plant. Frederic married Adda Sue Rhoads March 11, 1967 in Perryton, and was a member of the Panhandle First United Methodist Church. He lived in Panhandle for 32 years, and was involved in Kairos Prison Ministry, and the Amarillo Vintage Truck Club.
Survivors include his wife Adda Sue of the home his mother Phyllis Nymeyer of Emporia, Kansas a son Michael Nymeyer and wife Kelly of Denton two brothers Jim Nymeyer and wife Linda of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, David Nymeyer and wife Glenna of Emporia, Kansas two sisters Carolyn Moody and husband Ken of Shawnee, Kansas, Barbara Nymeyer of Emporia, Kansas a granddaughter Maven Claire Nymeyer of Denton several nieces and nephews three cousins Rance Nymeyer of Lubbock, Laura Jane Cahenzli and husband Mark of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Gena Lou Nymeyer of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Frederic is preceded in death by his father, Frederic Nymeyer Sr.
