Gentry Trahern

Funeral services for Gentry Kent Trahern, 53, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, at 1st Baptist Church in Borger with Anthony Curran of Dumas officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Gentry died Wednesday, November 2 in an auto accident near Stinnett.

Gentry was a Borger resident for the past 30 years and was a Welder for Dynamic at the Valero Plant in Dumas. He married Mary Susan Niles February 11, 1978 in Borger. He was active in the Tri City Youth Association, Promise Keepers and the Walk to Emmaus group. Gentry loved his family especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Beaver Smith.

He is survived by his wife Susan, his son Aaron Trahern and wife Kara of Borger, his 3 daughters Miranda Martinez and her husband Joey of Stinnett, Laura Cano and her husband Mark of Austin, TX, Genta Huffman and her husband Josh of Franklin, TX, his father Boyce Trahern and wife Linda of Bowie, 3 brothers Troy Trahern of Sunray and Flint Trahern of Bowie, TX and Chris Bradford, 2 Sisters Julie Bradford of Bryan, TX and Penny Bradford Hedgepath of Bowie, 7 Grandchildren Gavin Martinez, Averi Cano, Landon Trahern, Addison Trahern, McKinley Trahern, Rilynn Huffman and Aiden Cano.

Casket Bearers will be Josh Huffman, Mark Cano, Joey Martinez, Aaron Trahern, Troy Trahern and Flint Trahern.
