George Adams

George Pete Adams 72, passed away August 17, 2020.

Services are pending at this time.  Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

George Pete Adams was born June 30, 1948 in Fairfield, Texas to Selettie Howard and Timp Adams. Pete was outgoing, loved to travel and very intellectual. He was an auditory person and could always keep a conversation going. Pete also lived a private life. Pete attended Frost High School and served in the United States Army for 12 years as a helicopter mechanic. Pete had a strong talent for singing and drawing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Peggy Adams, Audrey Walker, Romona Randall; and brothers, Artis Lee Terry, Kirby Adams, Timp Adams Jr., and Mon Jay Adams.

Survivors include his brother, Jimmy Adams of Fort Worth; sister, Judy Sandifer of Irving; daughters, Dorothy Adams of Germany, Kayla Royal of Borger; stepchildren, Alexander Wheeler of Borger, and Katesia Bailey of Borger; and a host of extended family.
