George Moore

George Calvert Moore, 67, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Borger.BRBRA graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Childress Cemetery in Childress, Texas under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Childress. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Porter, Pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene in Borger officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Moore was born May 13, 1940. He began working for the Texas Highway Department in 1966 and retired on July 31, 1998 as a supervisor. He served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963. After the service he worked for Farmers Implement in Claude. He enjoyed participating in Chuch Wagon competitions. His team was called Wild Cow He was also a representative for Reagan Brown Auctioneers.BRBRHe is survived by his brother - Eddie Moore and his sister, Linda Loter both of Childress.
