Gerald Turner

Gerald Kenneth Turner, 86, died September 14, 2011 in Pampa.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, Texas with Rev. Les Sharp of Faith Covenant Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Kenneth was in the U.S. Army, serving his country during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as an Operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. and loved to camp and to fish. He married Jimmie Marie Nix in October of 1964 in Borger, Texas.

Survivors include a son, Ed Turner and wife Connie of Pampa, Texas, daughter Emily Sargent and husband Ronnie of Borger, Texas, two brothers M.L. Turner of Borger, Texas and Gene Turner of Michigan, and a sister Mary Lou Grubbs of Borger, Texas, four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
