Giles MB Turner, 93, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday, November 18, 2016 at First Assembly of God Church in Fritch with Pastor Justin Unwin officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the funeral home.

Giles was born May 10, 1923 in Gran Quivira, New Mexico to Montie Lee Russell Turner and James Malcolm Turner. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. Giles was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Fritch. He enjoyed visiting at the coffee and donut shop. Giles like to travel to watch his great grandkids sporting events and to work in his yard, especially his rose garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lee Turner; son, Giles Henry Turner; daughter, Mary Lee Turner; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his three grandchildren, Bruce Baker and wife Brandy of Fritch, Suzanne Cotton and husband Chuck of Goodrich, Brian Matthews and wife Cheryl of California; six great grandchildren, Britney Baker, Briann Baker, Natalie Cotton, Emma Cotton, Sarah Matthews, Courtney Matthews; sister, Mary; brother-in-law, Bill Boyd; numerous nieces and nephews and many more friends and loved ones.
