Glenda Faye McNutt

Glenda Faye McNutt, 80, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Eternal Light Church. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to Eternal Light Church, 822 Weatherly, Borger, Texas, 79007.

Glenda was born October 15, 1943, in Meade, Kansas to Milton Karl Harris and Hildred Faye McGinity Harris. She was an active member of Eternal Light Church where she served in various capacities; treasurer for the youth group, made welcome baskets for newcomers, and sent out cards for all occasions. Glenda was a 1962 graduate of Borger High School. She retired from the Phillips Refinery as a lab tech after 29 years and 7 months. Glenda enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, doing crafts, and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Hildred Harris; son, Todd Cordell McNutt; and sisters, Jan Cornwell and Rhonda Harris. 

Survivors include her son, Justin Keith McNutt and wife Michelle; daughter, Tara Lynette Earnest; daughter-in-love, Debbie Matlock; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Bill Harris and wife Helene; two nieces; and three nephews.
