Glenn Howard, Sr.

BRGlenn K. Howard, Sr., 89, died Saturday, July 28th in Borger.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Knox and Rev. Jeff Hutchinson, Pastor officiaitng. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of BorgerBRBRMr. Howard was born on September 20, 1917 in Dozier, Texas, and had been a Borger resident since 1947 moving here from Rockport, Texas. He married Alyne Clements on February 10, 1944 in Houston, Tx. He was a retired Security Guard for Phillips Petroleum Co. and served in the US Army in Germany Japan. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.BRBRSurvivors include his wife, Alyne of the home, son - Glenn Knight Howard Jr. and his wife, Kim of Hockley, Tx., daughter - Glennda K. Howard Cooley and her husband, Charles of Euless, Texas, brother - E. P. Buck Howard of Borger, two nieces - Vicky Grant James and Donna Driggers both of Temple, Tx., eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
