Gloria Barnes

Gloria Faye Barnes, 74 of Borger died Wednesday Sept. 12th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Saturday Sept. 15th at First Baptist Church of Borger with Andy Dietz officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Gloria was born October 8, 1937 at Sayre, Oklahoma to James William Flue and Jessie Emma Keahey Flue. She married Larry Barnes April 3, 1998 at Borger. She moved back to Borger in 1975. She was member of First Baptist Church of Borger. She loved to read, do puzzles and knitting.

She is survived by her husband Larry of the Home. A son Scott Fargo and wife Linda of Ft. Worth, TX. A daughter Amy Elder and husband Chris of Louiville, Kentucky. Brothers James Gale Flue of Cleveland, TX and Norman Dale Flue of Georgetown, TX. Sister Patricia Heard and husband Carlton of Fritch. Step sons Mark Barnes of Overland Park, KS, Gary Barnes of Ft. Collins, CO and Brian Barnes of Dallas, TX. Step daughter Diane Lemons of Dallas, TX. Grand daughters Elizabeth Anne Fargo, Cheyenne Elizabeth Elder and Maya Katherine Elder. Nine step grandchildren

The family asked that memorials be made to: The Gideons and Living Water Ministries of Borger.
