BRGrady Loyn Herrin, 89, died Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Sweet Street Baptist Church in Tahoka, Tx., with Rev. Lynn Long, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Nevels Memorial Cemetery in Tahoka under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Home in Borger and White Funeral Home in Tahoka.BRBRGrady was born on December 20, 1917 in Dawson, TX and had been a Borger resident since 1998, moving here from Tahoka. Grady was a graduate of Tahoka High School. He served overseas duty in India during WW II from1941 to 1945 in the Army Air Corp. He married Bobbie Maloy Scott on February 21, 1943 in Post, TX. He retired from Lyntegar Electric Co. and was a charter member and deacon of Sweet Street Baptist Church in Tahoka. BRBRHe was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie, his father, Grady Herrin, and his mother step-father, Frank Fannie McGlaun, five brothers - James McGlaun, Joe McGlaun, Dan McGlaun, Frank McGlaun, Jr., and Randall McGlaun.BRBRHis survivors include two daughters - Sandra Bryan of Amarillo, Kam Harvick and her husband, Gordan of Borger, two sisters - Annette Lindsey of Dallas, Sarabeth Thompson of Dawson, Tx., five grandchildren - Shannon Johnson husband, Tom of Brownwood, Shaunda Tisdale husband, David of Amarillo, Aaron Bryan wife, Keisha of Lubbock, Kayla Sargent husband, Brandon of Trophy Club and Kara Blackburn husband, Justin of Davenport, FL; and six great-grandchildren - Andrew Alyssa Johnson, Jason Jayden Tisdale, Brady Sargent and Tyler Hembree.BRBRThere will be a family visitation on Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Tahoka.
