Grant Lyle Red Marietta, 74, died Friday, January 11, 2008 in Borger, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Stinnett Cemetery with Rhonda Greenwood, Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Stinnett officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRGrant was born on June 7, 1934 in Colby, Kansas and had been a Stinnett resident since 1982 moving here from Woodward, OK. He was a maintenance man for the City of Borger and served in the National Guard. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stinnett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley and his parents Emmett Alma Marietta.BRBRHe is survived by his brother - Don Marietta and wife, Jerri of Bellavista, Arkansas, three sisters - Ethel Whisenhunt of Lincoln, Nebraska, Deanna Scott of Stinnett, and Marcia Schwageler of Rhiensteine, Germany.BRBRMemorials may be made the the Memorial Fund First United Methodist Church, Box 1192, Stinnett 79083.BR
