G.E. Mac McKey, 82, of Borger died Thursday March 19, 2009. BRBRThe service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kurtis Spidel, Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Amarillo officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRG. E. was born Dec. 24, 1926 at Elmore City, Oklahoma to Floyd and Opal McKey. He served in the US Army durring WWII and Korea as a Staff Sgt. He moved to Borger in 1956 when he started working for Phillips. He married Joy Gunter on March 12, 1965 in Borger. BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Joy of the home, two sons - Michael Wayne McKey and Charles Alan McKey and wife Angela all of Dallas, daughter - Pamela Ann Leimer and husband Verone of Amarillo, sister - Fern Adams of Chickasha, OK, and two grandchildren - Kara Cade Leimer. Casket bearers will be Michael McKey, Charles McKey, Verone Leimer, and Cade Leimer.BR
