Hafford "Turk" Eugene Alley, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Turk was born April 26, 1932 in Dimmitt, Texas to Joseph Beal Alley and Euna Lee Alley. He proudly served in the United States Navy upon the USS Dixie during the Korean Conflict. Turk attended Grace Church and was a retired foreman for Johnson Ranch. He was the kindest man with a big heart. A true family man, he loved family gatherings more than anything.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dixie, a sister, Billie Sparks and a brother, Joseph Beal Alley, Jr.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 27 years, Bessie; son, Jack Alley of Palm Desert, California; daughters, Debbie "Nikki" Ann Roman and husband David of Indio, California, Ronda Criswell and husband Button of Stinnett, Valerie Rogers and husband Allen of Canyon, Alisha Cryer and husband Joey of Amarillo; brother, Bobby Alley and wife Marilyn of Amarillo; sisters, Mary Booker of Friendswood, Peg McDonald of Friendswood; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Sylvia Duncan of Borger; eight grandchildren, Trevor Milliard, Daryl Lewis and wife Debee, Russell Lewis and wife Cyril, Sarina Huckleby and husband Jacob, Kalee Tucker and husband Austin, Kyeleigh Cryer, Seth Rawle, Brennen Cryer; ten great grandchildren and one due to arrive on March 27th and numerous nieces and nephews including Leslie Gale Sparks and Jimmy Dale Sparks.
