Hank Lee McWilliams, 56, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014.

Funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Celebration Family Church. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. His memory may be honored with a gift to Cancer Treatment Centers of America CTCA, 600 Celebrate Life Parkway, Newnan, Georgia, 30265.

Hank was born October 15, 1957 in Borger to Henry and Mary McWilliams. He graduated from Phillips High School in 1976 there he was captain of the Blackhawks football team that went to state. Hank married the love of his life Michele Cutler on May 9, 1980 in Fritch.

Mr. McWilliams started his career working for Riddle Welding. He then became a pipeline welder for Phillips 66 which led to a job in the valve shop. From there he transitioned to a position with Rice Construction.

An avid fisherman, Hank made his own fishing lures and was a member of the Texas Walleye Association. He also holds the Texas State record for Walleye. Hank enjoyed spending time with his family, but nothing gave his life greater fulfillment than his grandbabies.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee McWilliams, Sr. maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Michele of the home sons, Aaron McWilliams of Borger, Hunter McWilliams of Fritch daughters, Heather McNabb and husband, Matthew of Borger, Haley McWilliams of Amarillo four grandchildren, Emorie, Landon, Brynlee, Ansley mother, Mary McWilliams of Fritch brothers, John Wesley McWilliams and wife Allison of Borger, David Lawrence McWilliams and wife Mickey of Borger and a host of extended family.
