Happy Bess, 91, died Wednesday, January 24th, 2007 in Spearman, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor officiating. Intemrent will be in The Garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, Texas.BRBRMr. Bess was born on October 13, 1915 in Saint Jo, Texas and had been a Borger resident for 50 years. He retired as a yard forman for Phillips Petroleum after 30 years. He served in the US Army during WW II and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.BRBRHis survivors include his wife, Betty Bess of the home, one son - Donald LeRoy Bess of Waco, daughter - Mary Catherine Moore of Spearman, brother - Bill Bess of Montaque County, Tx., sister - Babe Ruth Pat Baker of Montague County, Tx., seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Don Moore, Jesse Browning, Redonna Moore, Stephen Moore, Jason Bess, Ricky Downs, and Jimmy Day.
