Harold Fick Jr

Harold Edward Fick Jr, 69 of Borger passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.   There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Harold was born on March 27, 1952, in Borger to Harold Edward Fick Sr and Iva Marie (Lance) Fick.  He was a member of Faith Covenant Church. He received his bachelor’s in physics, master’s in chemistry and professional engineers. He was a corrosion chemist for Phillips and later was a teacher. He married Betty Ann Baker Dec. 21, 1979, in Borger. He loved fishing, playing pool and joking around, also riding long distance on his bike. He loved higher education.

Preceding him in death is his parents, wife, brothers Christopher, John and Wesley. Sister Lydia McKnight.

Surviving is a son Steven King and wife Beatrice of Fritch. Daughters Kathy Guthrie and Husband Stephen of Fritch; Misty Savage and husband Terry of Borger. Brother Leo Joe Fick of Austin, TX. Sister Sally Fick of Borger. Ten Grandchildren.
