Harriet H. Edwards, 80, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 in Houston. BRBRServices will be Friday, January 25th, at First United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Boren, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Edwards was born on April 14, 1927 in Eldora, Iowa and had been a longtime Borger resident. She married Charles A. Edwards on June 14, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa. He preceded her in death in August, 1997. She and Charles were owners of Edwards Petroleum Sales. She was passionate about her family and friends, and various charitable organizations in Borger including Friends of the Library. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.BRBRHer survivors include three sons - Craig A. Edwards of Burkeville, TX, Bruce Edwards of Austin, TX., Blaine D. Edwards of Houston, TX,five grandchildren - Sean Edwardss, Melanie Rodriguez, Kevin Edwards, Audrey S. Edwards, Cole D. Edwards. and six great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Matthew Batchelor,Matt Hood, Cliff Murley, David Mooney, Cole Edwards and Kurt Schoch.BRBRThere will be a visitation for family and friends on Thursday, January 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.BRMrs. Edwards will not be in state until Thursday morning, January 24th.
