Harvey Davis, Jr.

Harvey Leonard Davis, Jr., 69, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 68 pm at the funeral home.

Harvey was born September 24, 1944 in Pampa to Harvey and Arna Davis. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Harvey was a member of the Elks Lodge and the International Union of Operating Engineers Union 351. He worked for Phillips for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his children, Donnie Lynn Davis and his wife, Sondra, Danny Davis all of Caddo Mills, Texas, Deana Davis of Borger, John Wesley Davis and his wife, Veronica of Borger sisters, Vicki Whistler of Chaffee, Missouri, Glenna Butterfield of Fort Worth nine grandchildren four great grandchildren and two great grandchildren expected to arrive in April and August.
