Hazel Rice

Hazel Lowe Rice, 92, of Fritch died Saturday April 13th at Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Fritch with Rev. Richard Edwards of Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Tulia, Texas 2:00 pm Wednesday under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Hazel was born June 25, 1920 in Waco, Texas to James C. and Clara Griffin Bonds. She was a Fritch resident for 26 years and a member of Tulia First united Methodist Church.

She married James W. Lowe June 28, 1936 in Tulia and he preceded her in death February 1975. She married Clark Rice July 10, 1976 at Tulia and he preceded her in death June 2002. She loved to crochet and work in her flower beds.

She is survived by her daughter Laquita and Husband Bill Wilfong of Fritch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
