H C Ziegelgruber, 93, of Fritch went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 21, 2022, in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 26, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Morse. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a family and friends’ visitation on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the funeral home in Borger.
H C was born March 5, 1929, in Logan County, OK to Charles Fredrick and Evelyn (Fessler) Ziegelgruber. He served in the US Army from 1950 to 1952. He married Marguerite Chitwood on October 5, 1950, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a member of Morse First Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon, taught Sunday school and training union. He had worked in the oil fields as a pumper and operator and later drive a truck for twelve and a half years. He loved country western and religious music.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife, daughter Lawanna Ziegelgruber, sister Evelyn Gladys Birdwell, brother Frank and a son in law Greg Jones.
Surviving are his sons Roy and wife Judy Ziegelgruber of Fritch; Gene Ziegelgruber of Fritch; Marvin and wife Julie Ziegelgruber of Whitehouse, TX. Daughter Donna Jones of Farrar, TX; Rhonda and husband Charles Hart of Stinnett. Brother Albert and wife Connie Ziegelgruber of Rio Hondo, TX. Sister Helen Miller of OK.
Grandchildren Paul, Justin, Lawanna, Zack, Zane, Zade and Sherry. Great grandchildren Kamiren, Bayleigh, Ares, Ada, Eli, Ty Ann and Cedar. One great great grandchild on the way.
