H.E. Cauthon

H.E. Cauthon, 90, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

H.E. was born July 4, 1928 in Syracuse, Kansas to Woody Harrison Cauthon and Debbie Wright Cauthon. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. H.E. married Treva J. McKeeman on January 15, 1952 in Raton, New Mexico. A member of Trinity Church of The Nazarene he enjoyed being involved in church activities. He liked to do woodworking and was an avid belt buckle collector.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Treva J. Cauthon; three sisters; five brothers; and son-in-law, Ricky Lamm.

Survivors include sons, John Cauthon and wife Mary of Sublette, Kansas, Mikel Cauthon and wife Debbie of Borger, Robert Cauthon and wife Trena of Borger; daughters, Elva "Elly" Cauthon of Abilene, Kansas, Eva Lamm of Wichita, Kansas, Jnell Green and husband Kenny of Borger; fifteen grandchildren, Andy, Andrea, Ashley, Derik, Mikayla, Jennifer, Shandalie, Treva, Misty, Kindal, Heidi, Adrianna, Tony, Rocky, Michael; thirty-six great grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Trinity Church of The Nazarene under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the funeral home. The family requested memorials be made to the Trinity Nazarene Church, 1106 Cleveland, Borger, Texas 79007 or the Wycliffe Bible Translaters at P.O. Box 628200, Orlando, Fl 32862.
