Heather Dee Montrose

Heather Dee Montrose, 51, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. 

Heather was born July 26, 1973, in Borger to Roger Montrose, Sr. and Pamela Burris Montrose. Heather was a graduate of Borger High School. She enjoyed going to the lake, traveling, listening to music and a car ride anytime to anywhere. Heather had a serious nostalgia for anything from the 80’s. Her canine companions Moxie, Lola, Jilly and Henry brought her much love and enjoyment over the years. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her family. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Montrose, Sr.; grandparents, Lois Lee Burris, Donald Eldon Burris, William F. Montrose, Cordia Davis; and stepson, Jeff Barker. 

Survivors include her sons, Tannin Montrose and wife Brittnae of Borger, Payton Barker and wife Skyler of Amarillo; mother, Pam Brooks of Borger; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Makayla, Raelyn; brothers, Roger Montrose, Jr. and wife Laura of Amarillo, Eric Montrose and wife Melanie of Amarillo; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
