Panhandle Helen Obert, 88, died Sunday, Nov. 18, in Azle, TX. A Rosary Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday and Funersal Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, both at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Panhandle with Father Mieczyslaw Przepiora officiating. Interment will follow at the Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. Mrs. Obert was born in White Deer, had lived in Panhandle for 30 years and had been a resident of the Ohio and Dallas areas the rest of her life. Helen was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of White Deer. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Richard Obert and her parents, Ben Urbanczyk and Jane Haiduk Urbanczyk. Survivors include a son Russell Obert of Panhandle; two daughters, Cheryl Collier of Fort Myers, FL and Janice Periman of Azle, TX; several sisters and brothers and 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
