Helen Tarpley

Helen Louise Tarpley, 86 of Panhandle went to be with her Lord and Savoir September 26, 2020 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Helen was born October 23, 1933 in Panhandle to Ellis William and Dora (Dellis) Russ. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Panhandle. She Married Tommy Daniel Tarpley November 23, 1952 in Panhandle. She loved doing crossword puzzles, word search and garage sales. She also loved to go to the casinos, eating at KFC and long John Silvers,

Surviving is her husband  Tommy Tarpley, Sr.,  her two sons Tommy Tarpley, Jr. and his wife Linda of Amarillo; Roy Tarpley and his wife Terri of Panhandle, her three daughters Pam Walker and her husband Gary of Amarillo; Janet Wilson and her husband John of Childress; Betty May and her friend Troy of Kerrville. Ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren
