Henry Paul Leven, 87, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Panhandle Cemetery with Father Hrudaya Raju Kondamadi officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday at the Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Henry was born April 5, 1933 in Amarillo, Texas to John Leven and Theresa Aichlmayr Leven. He graduated from Panhandle High School. Henry married Louella Ford on December 18, 1982 in Amarillo, Texas. He enjoyed golf, polka dancing, FFA, 4-H and showing animals. He and Louella loved to travel all over the country with friends. He was a lifetime Farmer and Rancher and loved life and serving others. He was an honorary member and past president of the Panhandle Country Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Glen; brother, Floyd; a young sister; and two sets of twin granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Louella of Panhandle and Evelyn Leven mother of his children; sons, Neal Leven and wife Diane of Roswell, New Mexico, Eric Leven and wife Melinda of Amarillo; daughters, Jean Holsenbeck and husband John of Lubbock, Jill Leven of Lubbock, Terrie Campbell and husband Jon, Tammy Lee and husband Frank; daughter-in-law, Roneen Leven of Panhandle; nineteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Lorraine Moore and husband David of Edmund, Oklahoma, Irene Kimball of Amarillo; and a host of extended family.
