Henry Phares

Henry Clay Phares, 77, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014.

A memorial service will be held 7 pm Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Pastor Bobby Bridges, officiating. In lieu of flowers, his memory may be honored with a gift to Fellowship Baptist Church, 305 N Deahl, Borger, Texas, 79007.

Henry was born October 21, 1936 in Choctaw, Arkansas to Reales and Beulah Phares. He enjoyed drawing, working in his woodshop and working on the ranch. Henry served as a door greeter at Fellowship Baptist Church where he was a member and greeted everyone with a hug, he formerly sang in their choir.

He is preceded in death by his parents two sons, Billy Wayne and Bobby Gene Phares and three great grandchildren, J.R. Parker, MacKenzie Anne Norman and Alyssa Rene Norman.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita of the home son, Tim Phares and wife, Tammy of Austin daughter, Deborah Norman and husband, Alan of Borger six grandchildren, Clifton Phares and wife, Lyne of Borger, Brandon Horton and wife, Jamie of North Carolina, Desire Raymond and husband, Paul of Lake Jackson, Texas, Danielle Jones and husband, Donnie of Temple, Madison Gressett of College Station, Jarrod Norman of Denver thirteen greatgrandchildren brothers, Gerrell Phares and wife, Ethel Borger, Gary Phares and wife, Sherry of Borger sister, Glenda Henson and husband, Bob of South Carolina and a host of extended family.
