Ignacio Herrera Sr.

Ignacio M. Herrera Sr., 71 of Borger died Sunday July 7th in Borger. Rosary will be said 7:00 pm Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church with Father Richard Zanetti officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ignacio was born July 31, 1941 at San Antonio, Texas to Severo and Anita Herrera. He worked in maintenance with Phillips Petroleum Company. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. He loved to draw, play golf and sculpture with splinters of wood. He was preceded in death by his wife Adalia.

He is survived by his Children Gilbert and wife Kathy of Emporia, KS, Ignacio Jr. and wife Bobbie of Borger, Xavier of Borger and a daughter Esther of Amarillo. Nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
