Ila Hayes

Ila May Hayes, 97 of Borger went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2021, Sunday Morning. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Riverview Baptist Church in Borger. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a family and friends visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Ila was born in Madison County, Arkansas October 3, 1923 to Bill and Annie (Murphey) Allen. She married Chester Hayes May 21, 1942 in Raton, NM. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She loved to play bingo, horseshoes, garage sales and especially her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Danny and David, daughter Jonnie Langford, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Surviving is sons Donnie Hayes of Fritch, Dennis Hayes of Borger and Terry Hayes of Fritch. Daughters Janice Sepulveda of Stinnett and Mandy Cummings of Amarillo. Sister Jean Scofield of Amarillo. Numerous grandkids and great grandkids.
