Irene Isabelle Flowers, 84, of Borger died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Erick, Oklahoma, at the Erick Cemetery with Jake Minton of Borger officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Irene was born August, 25, 1927 in Apache, Oklahoma to James Otis Boatman, and Myrtle Isabelle Yoder Boatman. She was a member of the Bread Of Life church in Borger, and a homemaker. The greatest inspirations of her life were receiving the Lord, being happy with her husband Archie, and riding her pony named Ribbon as a child. Irene wanted to be remembered as being a truthful person.

Survivors include a daughter Anita Lee Williams of Rye, Colorado five grandchildren Melanie, Holly, Marie, Carla, and Michelle, a number of greatgrandchildren, and special friends Pamela and Samuel Camel of Borger.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband Archie L. Flowers May, 7, 2006, two daughters, LaVerne Anders, and Tommye Gayle Flowers, a son Archie James Flowers, and a sister Inez Anita Keathley.
